First video with my new Panasonic HX-WA2
It's a pistol grip style action cam. Not only can it film in full HD 1080 p
it's also waterproof. So far I'm pretty happy with it. It's not perfect, but it films pretty decently.
Anyway, this is just me derping around with my cat. Testing out my new cam.

Friday, August 27th, 2010 Life in my catnip garden.... The peak of the bloom is past and now most of the flowers are seeded. Many of the plants have already been harvested. There are however, still a few flowers for the bees, who are unknowingly stalked by a jumping spider. The spider seems to be using my old chevy small block as a hide out. Meanwhile my cats lounge around and enjoy the catnips...

This blue heron was perched in a tree behind my house. It was grooming itself and looking for crayfish in the stream below. I grabbed my tripod and set about filming it with my Nikon P90. Trivia: the author liked Valkyria (initially anime-only character others created) so much that reintroduced her in the manga. Before going back to being a dentist and leaving the story pending forever.

Valcura was such a cool character.

One thing I always liked about The Guyver is that it is clear Sho doesn't really know how to fight. He is sort of just making his fighting style up as he goes.
I think that's one part being due to the sheer brute strength difference between Sho and most zoanoids (nullifies the need for combat training in MANY situations) and one part Sho being just scrappy to make up the difference, when brute force isn't enough.
Yeah i think its better for him to learn how to fight zoanoids in his own way since all of them have their own unique bioweapons and in the manga it was clear on how skilled he has gotten from using the guyver suit

Damn I aint know Guyver was this cold on the heaux's. Just chest blasted her all the way to human, to dust. Maybe I am too nice of a guy. Even Sho Fukimachi don't gaf!!!! "We fight like Guyver, against the Hyperzoinoid..." -The Rza.
The Guyver is always my favourite fiction anime series. It has great potential but sadly those who make the manga, the 2 1990s movies, the 1986 OVA movie Guyver: Out of Control, the 12 episodes from OVA series and the 2005 anime series, they wasted many opportunities on them and they didn't put a female Guyver as a main protagonist like Sho for example. Also, in my opinion Valkyria should be a good woman Guyver, not a bad woman Guyver with Chronos and I was thinking that they would put her in the next guyver movie or show and I had a dream that she betrayed the Chronos and help Sho Fukamachi/Sean Barker to get mizuki and Tetsuro Segawa and Max Reed out of the Chronos base and Agito Makishima showed up and help them back and maybe she could have been another love-interest for Sho/Sean.

This one of my favorite animes I have the guyver bioboosted armor set. What's crazy is a lot of this anime reminds of mythology like the Anununaki who speaks of how they took primitive man and mixed their DNA making human slaves.

Wish they'd given her a more unique design. I could barely tell them apart for most of the fight.
Agreed hilarious enough the fight between guyver 1 and 2 in the manga is even worse because the only difference is their face designs and there's no color to tell the difference 😂, thank God the OVA redesigned Guyver 2 completely that way we can clearly tell which one is him.

Yes she was a terrorist, part of the Chronos organization, they kill and kidnap people with no consequence and cover it up to hid their actions as they have operatives in the police and government. Many of Sho's friends were murdered in front of his eyes in order to try and get his Guyver unit and kidnapped Mizuki who they for sure either would have killed for just knowing about Chronos or would have turned her into an experiment for Zoanoid research. Sorry but you work for a company that does that and you know it does that you deserve whatever happens to you.

I've seen all the guyvers what episode and season is this from? I thought that sho never fought dr Baucus. I'm so confused ive never seen this before.
This was the first Guyver animated adaptation. It's a standalone movie that deviates from events in the manga. In this version, Guyver II was a female Chronos agent called Valcuria. Her character was actually brought into the manga later on.

I see now there are more than 2 guyver versions.. 😄 i love the US version.
The one we all know Is the OVA one that came out 1991
The 1991 version is Japanese of course, but it got a US dub, this one was an hour long 1987 movie. I like it, but the 12 episode version is the best. I wish they did more with Lisker/Guyver 2, we did get that in the 2006 anime but that version was too fast paced, even with more episodes

Guvyer II is a chick?
For those who don't know the Guyver armor was originally a parasitic creature(think Venom but worse) that was modified and restrained by the control medal as long as the medal is intact it can regenerate the user with all of their memories even if it's ripped out.
It is both a blessing ((In some shape or form.)) as well as a curse.
But arguably, the regenerated user is a clone with copied memories. Guyver 2 survived for a bit after its medal was destroyed, and clearly was still conscious.
I always argue that DC's Blue Beetle is borrows lots of elements from Guyver. Parasitic-insect life form, latches onto human host, grants bio-organic armor that can transform appendages into melee and ranged weapons, difficult for human host to control, Guyver and many of the other monsters are all very beetle-like as well.

@@ThunderNerve that so called "mere armor" can increase its size and can shoot out the gigasmasher which is far more formidable than the megasmasher , oh and it can make a gravity implosion which acts like a black hole Do you still think it's still a mere armor ? That thing can fly , shoot out megasmasher, cut things with high frequency blade , produce highly destructive sound waves, heck it can even bring it's host back to life ( well the host still dies but it makes a copy with the same memories as the original) All I'm saying is that you underestimate the bio booster armor way too much it's probably one of the most overpowered weapons I've seen in manga
